Proposal summary

This page captures the agreed scope of MetaWeave’s response to the NBS RFP for AI Transformation Consulting Support. Commercials, named participants, and final dates are tracked separately and confirmed via written exchange between NBS and MetaWeave.

Objective (per RFP)

NBS is engaging MetaWeave to support its AI Transformation by:

  • Strengthening NBS engineering capability for AI-native development
  • Assessing the future direction of NBS’s application landscape
  • Establishing practical guardrails for the safe adoption of Agent AI

Scope of work

① Technical workshop — Claude Agent SDK (~3 days)

Hands-on workshop for NBS engineers, with a focus on early-career team members. Participants are already users of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Devin AI + Playbook. The workshop covers:

  • Development workflows for Agent AI
  • Architecture patterns (single-agent, multi-agent, supervisor, memory)
  • Implementation approaches with the Claude Agent SDK
  • Enterprise best practices (security, observability, evals)

② Application fit-gap (~1.5 days)

Review of approximately 5 NBS applications currently under development. For each, MetaWeave will produce:

  • A fit-gap assessment against modern application architecture and emerging technology trends
  • An opinionated recommendation on future direction (refactor, replatform, rebuild, retire)

③ Agent AI guardrails (~0.5 days)

Focused working session on enterprise guardrails for Agent AI adoption, covering:

  • Governance and ownership
  • Access control and identity
  • Approval and human-in-the-loop processes
  • Monitoring and observability
  • Operational safeguards (kill switches, blast radius limits, rollback)

From the MetaWeave side

  • Lead consultant(s) and supporting engineers (named in final proposal)
  • All preparation, materials, and post-engagement memos produced from Chennai
  • Travel to Tokyo (treated separately per RFP)

Assumptions & prerequisites

  • NBS provides on-site meeting space, AV, and reliable internet for hands-on labs
  • Participants have laptops with Node.js / Python development environments
  • Participants have Anthropic Console access (or NBS will issue dev API keys)
  • NBS provides ~5 candidate applications (architecture briefs, code or demos) at least 1 week before the engagement
  • NBS confirms which 5-day window (18–22 May or 25–29 May) at least 2 weeks ahead
  • Travel, lodging, and per-diem for MetaWeave team are treated as separate line items per RFP

Cost

Cost estimate is provided in the formal proposal document submitted to the NBS DX Promotion Group. Travel-related expenses are itemized separately as requested.

Approval flow (NBS-side)

  1. MetaWeave submits proposal + quotation
  2. NBS reviews internally
  3. DX Promotion Group coordinates budget against proposed scope
  4. Engagement confirmed → window locked → invoicing per agreed milestones
